I have severe plantar fasciitis and the soles of my feet are also extremely sensitive and prone to neuropathy-like symptoms (burning pain).These insoles relieved the pain to the point where it was bearable in the mornings and manageable throughout the day. However, the texture on the top of the insole drove me mad. It pulled on my socks when I put my shoes on and something about the insole made me feel like I was wallowing in quicksand. They also attracted this weird gunk that wedged itself in the heel of my shoe. I don't really understand why that happened, but it became lodged in between the insole and the base of the shoe and I've never seen anything like that before. I can only assume it's because of the texture on the top.My feet never felt great, and certainly never felt 'energized', as some brands claim, but they did alleviate some pain so they're not all bad.If the soles of your feet are extremely sensitive, you might benefit from these, but I wouldn't buy again.I've been using these Orthofeet insoles for years. I have a pair for every pair of shoes, boots, and sneakers that I own.I've always had bad feet, including plantar fasciitis in both feet, so my feet are very sensitive and I can't use insoles that a lot of other people can use. I've tried insoles specifically for plantar fasciitis and they hurt my feet. I've found these to be the perfect solution. They don't irritate my plantar fasciitis but rather add that extra cushion and support that I need. They also last forever. It's a great price for a great product. I probably own 30 pairs so far!I bought these to replace inserts that have worn out in favorite moccasins. They make is easy to wear any shoes I want.The arch supports are very high which isn't necessarily bad. Yet when you couple it with the very thick inner sole it makes them difficult to fit into my shoes.Others seem to like these but the arch didn't work for me. Shipping and return was easy. Seems like a good company. Give it a try.These were recommended to me years ago by my doctor for relief of plantar fasciitis pain. He said that I did not need custom orthotics costing several hundred dollars. He was right. I have bought several pairs and switch them between shoes or replace the existing insoles with these. They are a bargain and my feet feel great. Add 2 day Amazon Prime and you can’t beat it.Only insert that has given me any relief from my plantar fasciitis. Not bulky and just the right amount of cushioning; almost feels like the texture of a good bandaid.I bought these to go into a pair of sneakers I bought which were a little too stiff on the bottom and just a little too large even with the two inserts that came with the shoes. These inserts made the sneakers comfortable.
