I've probably tried every decently known brand of insoles in the <$100 range. Most I've tried run around 40-60$. Not tried custom or semi custom insoles, just the "plug and play" type. These are by far the most comfortable of the throw in and go.Moderate to mod-high arch support. Definitely short for a 15, I would say probably 14.5 in the length (for the size 14-15). So true to advertised size, but definitely not true 15.I think these provide a more comfortable cushioning, which is significantly noticeable in the forefoot when comparing between insoles.I'm using these in very stiff leather hiking boots, specifically 2 pairs of Scarpas and Kenetrek mtn extremes. I'm carrying anywhere from 40#-80# in my packs when hiking with these boots/insoles. For my uses in these type of boots, I don't think there is a better insole in the 50-100$ range.100% worth upgrading to these. If they were to ever wear out, I would replace them immediately with the exact same.I have a bad arch and also ankle, knee and hip problems. These insoles give me the support to still do physical activities. I’ve already bought 2 pairs for separate shoes. They’re worth every penny!Love this product. This pair is the 4th that I have purchased. You can really feel the arch support and it help with fatigue while hiking.I recently was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis. I've been using Superfeet hike insoles, but my ortho recommended these. They help with the PF and are much more cushioned than the Superfeet. They are a little higher volume so they push my heels up too high in some shoes, but fit well in my "sized up" shoes.2 weeks before I headed out to walk the Camino de Santiago across Spain I had knee issues and realized I did not prepare with proper soles.Quickly went online and purchased these which helped heal my knees before leaving for the trip and were excellent walking 16 mile days for 34 days straight.Next trip I will definitely use these again - LIFE SAVERS.Highly recommend to anyone needing great arch support that is reliable.I purchased these insoles for my husband and myself. He used to wear superfeet orange and I used spenco total support. After he sustained a tension injury in his ankle hiking he needed more motion control which brought me to these insoles and loved the fact they're made in the USA ??!He instantly felt a big difference the moment he slipped these into his shoe and was able to walk better with the motion control they provided. They're true to size and fit in carolina loggers, hoffman boots, muck boots as well as mountaineering boots and Merrells!!! Very versatile and life changing for both of us!As for me I have flat feet after several foot surgeries and hypermobility these are the most amazing insoles for me in 20 years and the only ones I can keep in my shoes morning to night without agony...Cons; they're a higher volume insole that may not work for people who do not have ample room. They're about a 1/4" thick and cushy.I purchased these to put in my Merrell hiking boots. I have flat feet and plantar fasciitis. I've tried other kinds of inserts before and even though they helped some, my feet still hurt some after a long hike. I saw that these were made especially for hiking boots so I decided to give them a try. I'm so glad I did! I put them in my boots and wore them for a few days doing my normal activities and work. I'm on my feet a lot so I figured that would allow me some time to break them in. They were very comfortable. Today I wore them on a long hike over some rough terrain. I experienced no foot pain at all during and afterwards! These are wonderful! I can't speak about durability yet, but so far so good! I'm going to try a pair in my walking shoes. We go hiking quite a bit, so if I can get 3 or 4 months out of these, I'll be happy. The arch is high as some others have posted, it but works well for my size 13 wide foot. At this price, they're worth a try! If anything changes, I'll update this review.Bought a pair of these to replace the stock insoles in my Salomon Men's Quest 4D 2 GTX hiking boots. I wear these boots almost every single day, 356 days per year and I do a lot of hiking/backpacking and they have been to several multi-day electronic music festivals. These insoles definitely brought new life to the boots and when everyone else's feet are destroyed at the end of a day of hiking or dancing, I have no idea what they are talking about. The ONLY complaint I have is that the arches are pretty high in my opinion. My feet must be a bit uneven, because the left insole's arch seems much higher/stiff than the right. I have bent the left one down a little bit to "flatten" it.. and it feels great for a half hour or so, but then it snaps back into its original form. So, if I could get the exact same ones but with a little less severe arch I think they would be perfect. I toss 'em right into the washing machine and dryer when they need a clean.hint: before putting these in your shoes, put a couple dryer sheets under there.. seems to help keep things fresh till the next time your wash the shoes and insoles.UPDATE october 5 2018After a few dozen runs through the washer/dryer, one of them finally bit the dust. The plastic base part warped from the heat in the dryer and curled up / separated from the "padding" part. Had to toss 'em. Product lasted about ~15 months. They would've lasted a lot longer, though, if i hadn't run them through the dryer. If you let them air dry they'd probably last much longer. Bought another pair of these, and they fit/feel great, just like new. I had complained of a fairly high arch in the first pair i bought, but the new ones I got (Aug 2018) didn't have such a steep arch so they are great for me. I am going to let them air dry this time and hopefully they'll last longer. These are very good insoles. They held up very well for long hikes with a heavy pack. Recommended.Too narrow.
