Great support for sagging or non existent arch without the pain associated with adjusting to orthotics. My doctor, a podiatrist, suggested these as an alternative. I will be getting more to put in my legion of athletic/activity shoes, as I don't like having to change the insole with every shoe change. An added plus--and, for me, with high top hiking boots, too-the thinner area toward the ball of the foot and toes is stiff enough that it slides right in, rather than buckling over as most over-the- counter insoles do. One more P.S.: It is recommended that these not be machine washed, and I honor that because that caution is to protect the integrity of a great product.I have always machine washed (gentle cycle) and air dried my sneakers and insoles. I plan to do that with ONE pair of these to see if they degrade. My choice to test this, but I live a rural, outdoor and often in the dirt lifestyle. I will report back on future orderPoor foot support will quickly ruin my day. I'm an old guy with high arches, and I've been building my own orthotics since my 20's for ski boots. The for shoes, too. The difference is so pronounced that I just buy shoes half to a size too large, knowing that I'll want the room for better insoles.Fast-forward twenty-five years. My wife decided to visit the podiatrist for some foot issues. She proscribed Powerstep insoles for her as a "first step". I was impressed enough with her improvement that I bought a pair for myself. For a relatively off-the-shelf orthotic they are great. I've tried the common ones including Dr. Scholl's in various flavors, and except for their top-of-the line for way more money products they don't come close to the Powersteps. I now have Powersteps in work shoes, dress shoes, casual and athletic shoes, even house slippers. They make such a difference in walking and standing comfort. I haven't replaced the molded cork orthotics in my ski boots yet.If you have non-standard feet, especially high arches as I do, these are certainly worth a try.I was very skeptical at first thinking these wouldn’t do much good but as a nurse that’s on my feet for hours at a time I can say these are amazing and if you’re on the fence, you just need to buy them. Since high school I’ve never not had foot pain with activity and since buying these my feet don’t hurt at all, even after long shifts. So happy I made this purchase!Relief at last! My feet started hurting in 2020. Turns out, I was walking barefoot in the house too much while working from home due to Covid. Suddenly, all of my shoes were uncomfortable. I bought new shoes, and those felt bad too. The foot doctor recommended this brand and this specific model for my foot pain. She said they were as good as most medical grade orthotics, and they're so much cheaper. She recommended I try them on top of whatever memory foam was in my shoe, or to try removing the memory foam in the shoe if it felt too tight. Very comfortable, and I'm using them on top of the memory foam already in my shoes. I had to trim to fit my shoe, and I was skeptical they would work because they don't seem to have much padding. But I'm now pain free and so glad I didn't throw out a bunch of shoes. If you're unsure, this is worth a try before you pay a doctor to make you custom arch support/insoles. Nice quality, they worked for me, and trying them has saved me a ton of money. I'm so relieved and I hope this information helps someone.I had my last pair Insoles for 4 years, and they are still in great shape. I bought 2 more pairs for my new sneakers. So glad my podiatrist told me to order these PS Insoles Originals, and so glad I found them again on Amazon! I can"t manage my foot pain and walking without them.I've been wearing these for 5 years now. Normally go through about 2 pair a year. These help me from walk on the sides of my feet.It is true to size (10-10.5) and is extremely comfy vs the Dr Scholl's ¾ products. My overpronation discomfort in the arch doesn't flare using this. Superb products and glad podiatrist recommended itThis was my first pair of insoles, and I found them to be very comfortable. It only took about a day before I was comfortable enough to wear them all day. I feel light on my feet, and still feel good by the end of the workday.I have used these Powerstep insoles for over four years now. Before this I had recurrent problems with plantar fasciitis. At times this was so painful it was like standing on a nail and having to limp home. These insoles cured it for me. After the first set, I bought a few more over the years and now use them in all my footwear. You can move them easily from one set of shoes to another but I found it easier to leave them in my most used footwear. I even use them in my running shoes as a replacement for the ones provided. They may be expensive, mainly because of import charges from the US I expect, but they certainly last. The ones I have for over four years are still good, though as expected the cloth has worn a bit. Not a problem with comfort though. They are also quite thin so do not push your foot up much towards the top of the shoe. Being full sized they do not slip about. Now whilst they are perfect for me, I guess that they will not suit everybody. After all, people's feet are different so they may push in the wrong place. I have tried other insoles as some were cheaper, but some were quite painful and unusable. In training for a marathon I developed Achilles tendinopathy, after a lot of research & treatment I invested in these insoles for my trainers. They have been brilliant! They helped resolve my Achilles tendinopathy and other general aches and pains associated with running long distances and doing lots of walking.Be careful when ordering that you ensure you you are ordering the correct size, when I bought the insoles they were listed in American sizes which was not clear on the blurb or product information. I therefore ordered an incorrect size, the company did however swap them very quickly without any fuss and were very helpful.I have had Posterior Tibial Tendonitis on my right Ankle for the last 12 months and hoping this insole would provide some relief and help with the recovery. Not only this insole did not help it actually made matters worst as it caused my right ankle to invert which has now caused pain and inflammation on the lateral side.Customer service was not helpful and very money orientated. Once you try it you can’t return it and that’s pretty much their feedback. They offered no suggestions, alternatives or advice so pretty much useless contacting them. Now I am 30 quid out of pocket, an ankle that is in a worst state then before, and this product will take up room in my bin. Not happy with the product and customer service, I will not recommend any of their products to anyone. Is this meant for a yeti? Having to cut these down means it's hit & miss if one gets it right - or not. What a stupid idea. Not to e recommended but for the superior DIY'er or perhaps someone with access to an old fashioned cobbler. And the month's delivery AND the extra charges ended up with me paying double the price advertised.Very unsatisfied.Description stated the product was new but the box may be damaged and they were reduced because of this. Very accurate description. The product is perfect and true to size
