I work in a dock environment where I am loading trucks, standing on concrete, climbing in and out of tractor-trailers, etc. for 4-5 hours non-stop. I had been experiencing significant plantar faciitis pain for about a month when a friend recommended these inserts. He swore by them so I bit the bullet and forked out the $50. Within two days of wearing them I was moving more freely and within a week virtually pain free.The insert is actually two pieces. The blue upper and a cork based bottom piece. When you first put them in it will feel like your arch is overly supported, but don't let that fool you. The cork will conform to your foot and the support will feel wonderful.As far as sizing goes, I thought it was a little short for my shoe, but I discovered that my toes do not go over the edge of the insert and there is enough room in my shoes to avoid feeling like my toes are crammed into the front of my shoes.I would highly recommend this product.
